The Christ, Barabbas and the two thieves at the crucifixion

The Christ, Barabbas and the two thieves at the crucifixion
The crucifixion is an act of execution by being nailed or tied (glued) to an upright cross and left to hang there until the individual dies. The crucifixion story is the only scriptural connection to these four individuals and we are about to see how these individuals connect in relation to our everyday life and decision making, consciously and unconsciously. Many people read and absolve the stories in the bible literally, hence they are unable to decipher the true intent of these stories and how to relate them with their personal life. The true pictures these stories seek to reveal seems to be mockingly shrouded in mystery, taking shelter confidently in obscurity, scornful of whosoever seeks to unveil its true meaning until by divine intervension, the Holy Spirit helps us to convert and coagulate the written letters of the scriptures (water) into pictorial forms in our consciousness so that we can mentally absolve them. The Holy Spirit helps us to see how our decisions everyday, consciously and/or unconsciously affect us spiritually. The bible, from Genesis to Revelation talks about us, how our incarnate physical self relates with its environment (the material world) and bears (depresses) our spiritual self; how our material life experiences and well-being always comes at the detriment of our spiritual well-being. It also shows how the spiritual (evolving) self fights back for control, like the story of Jacob and Esau. The story of the Christ, Barabbas and the two thieves centers on how we make our choices; whether we know how they affect us spiritually or not? These choices are usually made within the general consciousness of the public during the feast of the passover and are binding until the end of the generation which ushers in another passover.

The Passover: The passover is a feast celebrated to signify the end of an era or generation. The feast of the passover ushers in a dispensation, which is the relaxation of laws in a particular era; permission to do something forbidden, or to omit doing something enjoined in an ending era. In a way, the whole system of ecclesiastical laws changes, even the obligation to God which man has incurred of his own freewill (oaths, vows, etc.) in a new generation. The changes in the ecclesiastical laws brings to man, (as if for the first time) the chance to make choices of new and binding laws, whether consciously or unconsciously for the coming generation on how to have a relationship with himself, others and with God. These choices cannot be revoked until the end of the generation. These choices in a way, are obligations man have commited himself to, towards God (or his Godhood) and determines his relationship with his Godhood (or God). Like I mentioned earlier, these laws are binding whether man makes them consciously or unconsciously: therefore he must bear the consequences of his choice. The parameters of spiritual knowledge, which leads to spiritual intercourse of any generation or dimension are determined chiefly, by the predominate consciousness mode allowed to rule it when having a relationship with one's self, others and God; this predominate consciousness mode may foster or hinder general appreciation of the true knowledge of one's self, the knowledge of the higher worlds and its attainment, and also the knowledge of the heavenly Father's Will and Requirements of man. During the passover feast, four modes of consciousness in relation to the knowledge of one's self, others and God are presented to the general public by the authority administering man's imagination and belief system. With a general concensus (the collective experience of humanity), the public chooses one of these four consciousness modes, whom they agree to rule them mentally, psychologically, emotionally or otherwise, when they relate with self, others and God from the beginning of that era to the end; and the other three alternate modes of consciousness are either put to death or suffer acute deficiency in the general public mind; while, the consciousness of their choice lives with vitality, energy and vigour in their imagination; it grows and expands until it is strong enough to choose and determine their attitude, behavior and activities towards self, others and God. In fact, it becomes the general belief system, hence a universal pattern of thought, present in every man's consciousness and subconsciousness.

In the crucifixion story; Christ, Barabbas and the two thieves are the four consciousness modes presented to the general public and Pilate is the authority administering man's imagination in any given era or generation. He does not choose for man his consciousness mode, but he administers and impresses man's choice on him. He ensures that man's choice of consciousness mode rules and determines his mental, psychological and emotional disposition when having a relationship with self, others and God, whether he is aware of his choice or not; Pilate then puts to death or hinders the activities and tendencies of the other unwanted consciousness modes by popular demand. He then washes his hands with water (their words) proclaiming his innocence since he did not make the choice for them. Water symbolizes spoken or written words, so with their choice (spoken words), Pilate shows his innocency (clean hands). Like I mentioned earlier, the true meaning of scriptural stories are shrouded in mystery until the Holy Spirit intervenes and unveils them.
Jesus, Barabbas and the two thieves are symbols of the four consciousness mode who battle for dominance, the prize being the state of our consciousness; each having the propensity to contribute towards our inclinations and tendencies, and to make our Will, theirs, if given the chance. Jesus symbolizes the Christlife; Barabbas symbolizes religious laws and lifestyle and the two thieves symbolizes the Philosophical and Scientifical mindset. These consciousness modes, tell different stories about creation and the whole mystery of man's existence, his past, present and future; each battles to convince man of having the true knowledge of the mystery of creation and promises to lead and show him the way because it seems man has lost his way: man cannot tell from whence he comes; he sees the present as a predicament and he is worried about his future. Man wants desperately to reconnect to his past, to understand and embrace the present and be assured of a blissful tomorrow. That is why, at the feast of passover (feast celebrating the end of an era or generation), these four consciousness modes are brought before the general public and they must choose the consciousness mode they feel can deliver these promises.

Let us consider the attributes of two of these four candidates:
Jesus and Barabbas are two opposite consciousness subset operating from the same source; these two consciousness modes cannot exist amicably within the same era or generation because they are contradicting and extreme aspects of divinity (Father of all spirits). Both claims ponderous importances to the Father, forcefully carrying out the task assigned to them by the Father. The name, 'Barabbas' is denoted from the word, "Bar Abbas", meaning, 'son of the father'. Don't forget, Jesus is also, "Son of the Father". These two sons are both, 'born of the Father', the difference being; while Jesus walks the right hand path of the Father, Barabbas walks the opposite left hand. Right-Hand Sonship is used when referring to the Christ relationship with the Father. Christ is the light (the way to true knowledge); Barabbas is darkness (the epitome of ignorance). These two opposites, balances the personality of the Father (of all spirits), the life-spring of all creation. Note: I did not use the word, 'heavenly Father'. When referring to Christ and His relationship with His Father, we may then use the word, 'Heavenly Father'.

Jesus's primary task is to impress on man, the Christ consciousness (the true knowledge of the Will and Requirement of the Father); to keep him from falling during his journey, and to present him before the presence of the Father's glory with exceeding joy through true worship and fellowship with heaven. The true knowledge of the Will and Requirement of the Father of man, confers on man, Sonship in the spirit through adoption. When man walks practically in the light of this knowledge, Godhood is confered on him. Yes! Man's destiny and potential is God; and the right hand isn't a place or seat, it is following and walking a creative tradition, not a destructive one! Heaven is the community of creative beings, whose operations are directed intelligently by the Holy Spirit and creative labour carried out by elemental spirits through the supervision of angels. Right Hand Sonship (Christ) leads to God consciousness. God is the creator of worlds, whose thrones are worlds that are created. When we sit at the right hand of the Father, we have walked through knowledge, the creative path, possessing the true knowledge of creation of worlds. The world we create is the throne we sit on. The knowledge of creation of worlds is called, "God consciousness". And so, Christ Jesus (God, the Son) is seated at the right hand of the Father, and we (God, the son) are co-heirs with him. When we walk in the Lord (the heavenly Father), in the light of His words, our throne (the tendency and ability to create worlds) is the glory He bestows on us.

The Christ consciousness is the true antidote to man's ignorance of the mystery of who he really is. "Some people are unaware of who they really are, therefore their potentials remains dormant and until their mind is actively put to work, they may never discover who they really are!" Do not toss this write-up away; this write-up challenges you to discover your true spiritual potentials despite, misguided realities plundering our spiritual heritage. Our Christhood ushers us into our Godhood, but how do we know Him who shows us the way to our Goodhood? How do we know the Christ and how he looks like that we may watch for him because Barabbas, through religion has done a slanderous job of concealing his true nature from men. Remember, Christianity is not a religion, it is the Way of Life of creative individuals who walk the right hand tradition of the Spirit through the true knowledge  and obedience of the first and second great commandments (read my thesis on CAIN AND ABEL).

The Christ is not easily known because His very nature is nothing of interest to many men. Some scriptures sheds light on his true nature in the material world: Luke 2:32; a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to God's people Israel. Israel (as used here) is not a country, but communities of spiritual people scattered all over the world. Matthew 18:11; Luke 19:10; For the son of man is come to seek and save that which was lost. Who are the lost?: Matthew 15:24; I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Who are the lost sheep of the house of Israel? Those who pant, thirst and hunger for true spiritual knowledge but do not know how to go about it. Matthew 10: 5-7; These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way (manner of approach) of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Isreal. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Religion, (and the two thieves) sciences and philosophies of this world have a gripping hold in the mind of the people, hindering the light of the true knowledge of God from penetrating their heart.

The scriptures says Christ is a light for revelation to the Gentiles and a glory to the spiritual class, Israel; but for the Jews (religious class), they hurryingly put His nature and teachings to death because Barabbas has done a slanderous job of concealing the true nature of the Christ from them. John 7:1; Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry (religious practices), because the Jews (religious people) sought to kill Him (his teachings and nature). Barabbas is the god of religion! and the left-hand son of the father of all spirits, the religious class rejected Christ, the light of the world and the Father's right-hand Son; they clamour for His death and embraces Barabbas, the epitome of spiritual darkness. Apostle Peter, when addressing the Jews (religious class) said in Acts 3:14; But you denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you. In the material world, Christ has no material glory, no physical  comeliness nor would anyone desire Him because his nature and personality has been concealed from men until He opens his mouth and begins to teach; Luke 1:16; And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God. The truth gleaned from His teachings becomes a light for revelation, hence salvation to them who pants and thirst for it, for they shall drink from this river of true knowledge. Isaiah 9:2; The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. The Christ comes from an unlikely place on earth, a place where religion and dark practices are prevalent. He comes from a place where Barabbas is the god; sitting on the throne, in the hearts of the people, ruling their consciousness mode. Christ is a light unto them who sit or walk in darkness and in the shadows of death, he guides their feet into the way of truth and peace if they allow Him. Psalms 23:4; Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod (mode of correction) and thy staff (guiding precepts) they comfort me.

Contemporary christianity claims she is not a religion; If she is not a religion, then what is she?... She is babylon, the great adulteress, who is in bed with the old evil serpent, Barabbas; a spiritual murderer, who with poisonous venom, baptizes feeble minds into the worship of satan and feeds them the Babel (confusion) version of the spiritual teachings of Christ. Revelation 18:1-4; And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of the devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have commited fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not her plagues.  Barabbas, the god of religion could even tolerate the two other thieves; Science and Philosophy because these two were not yet dead at the end of the crucifixion story, they only had their legs broken (hindered or paralysed their activities) when it was discovered that they were not dead. Though Philosophy and Science are still alive today, they do not have the authority religion has to control the mind of people when it comes to spiritual matters.  Barabbas cannot tolerate the true teachings of the Christ because: the entrance of Christ words giveth light, it gives understanding even to the simple. And so, he woos Babylon until she accepts his hand in marriage -- Babylon is the gate of the god of this world! Wide, it is. Yes... very wide!  Revalation 18: 2; And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of the devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. Barabbas, with the help of Babylon turns the unadulterated words of the Spirit into Babel (Confusion). He watches and laughs in derisions when simple minded church-goers mumble or rail gibberishly calling it, "speaking in tongues". Barabbas, through the clerical class (priests) jeers and urge them on, telling them that, that is the only language the devil (himself) cannot understand. Of course, the devil does not understand mumbles and railings, who does? Even the speakers don't! If you care to know what tongues of the spirit really is, read on; its true meaning will dawn on you. Do you know what I am doing now?... I am speaking and interpreting mysteries of the Spirit!

Barabbas also urges Babylon to convince the feeble and simple-minded that the model of the Christ consciousness (Jesus) is their saviour; "just accept him as your personal lord and saviour and that grants you the ticket to heaven". The scriptures enjoins us all, to put on the nature of Christ. Jesus is only an example of who the Christ is... we are to follow his foot steps not make him our personal lord and saviour! Luke 9:23; And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross (persevere) daily and follow me. Jesus himself said, "to follow him". When the rich man approached Jesus in the gospel of Mark, chapter 10; wanting to know what to do to inherit eternal life, Jesus' final statement to him was, "come, take up your cross, and follow me". Jesus did not say, "to accept him as personal lord and saviour".  I know religious folks, you are boiling right now, but see (open and use your mind eye): the truth tastes bitter at first until we embrace it! The Christ is not Jesus' surname, it is a title given to those who have come to the truth (knowledge) of the Will and requirement of the heavenly Father; and are willing to walk in the light of this knowledge through the obedience of the First and Second great commandments. Galatians 4:19; My little children, of whom I travail until Christ be formed in you. The Christ is formed or born in us. Galatians 3:27; For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on the Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16; For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ. When you have the mind of Christ, you are Christ! My earlier quote says,  "Some people are unaware of who they really are, therefore their potentials remains dormant and until their mind is actively put to work, they may never discover who they really are!" An active mind, focused on the word of God and in the things of the Spirit can never be deceived by satan. When the mind is feeble and simple, it opens the minds door to beguilement and satan messes it up spiritually. Some people may perceive the use of the phrase, 'feeble and simple-minded' as insulting, especially church-goers. This is my point: Education and academic excellence may make the mind active, but when that mind is not focused on the words of God and in the things of the Spirit, it becomes a feeble and a simple mind in the Spirit. The devil may beguile and control the mind's activites with unconcious permission from its owner. Ephesians 6:10-11; Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. This mind, though active and excellently educated in the material world, shows its weakness in not foreseeing (through the frequency of the Holy Spirit), the wiles and devices of the enemy, thus lacks the strenght in pulling down spiritual stronghold of the enemy. Ephesians 6:12-13; For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day. A mind not tuned to the frequency of the Holy Spirit subjects itself to the manipulation of adverse spirits and until this mind puts on the whole armour of God, it remains subjected to the devises and operations of the enemy.

When Nicodemus asked Jesus how to enter the kingdom of heaven, Jesus' answer did not include, "accepting him as lord and savior". He said, "to be born again", meaning, to be born of water and of the spirit. What does it mean to be born again? To be born again, means not to conformed any longer to the ways (consciousness) of the world but to be transformed by having a renewed and a converted mind. Romans 12:2; And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. To be reborn, is to cut off the old religious mind set, and replace it with a new mind set which is the, "Christ mind set". 2 Corinthian 5:17; Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; all things are become new. New creature here connotes: a shift in our consciousness (from the old religious consciousness to the Christ consciousness) such that we set our mind on things above and not earthly things; knowing that godliness with contentment is great gain, only then can the mysteries of the Holy Spirit permeate our hearts. A man having the mind of Christ is born of the words of God (water) and have been baptized into the mysteries of the Spirit. For the purpose of interpreting Matthew 9:17 correctly -- New wine symbolizes the mysteries of the Spirit; bottle symbolizes the mindset; an old bottle symbolizes an old mindset; to put new wine in a bottle means to teach or bring to light what is hidden: Matthew 9:17; Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved. To be born again or reborn is to have a renewed or converted mind (new bottle) that can accomodate the mysteries of the spirit (new wine). {Read my thesis on, 'the mysteries of the three Marys for more comprehension} To be baptized with water unto repentence (the first baptism), is to be taught the words of God such that the person have a change of heart (converted), hence a new mind (healed of the old religious mindset). Isaiah 6:10-11; And he said, Go and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. When one stubbornly and unrepentantly embraces old religious teachings and practices, it is difficult for the mysteries of the Spirit to permeate such a mind, if it does, it makes such a one mentally, psychologically and emotionally unstable, and such a person may end up loosing his mind and/or soul (else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish). As you can see, accepting Jesus as your lord and personal savior does not make you born again. It is a false doctrine Babylon, through her false prophets teaches.

To accept Christ (not Jesus) as your Lord, means you are preserved in Christ, that does not make you a candidate in the kingdom of Heaven. When you are preserved in Christ, you are a paradise candidate (a person, who lives the Christ life unconsciously, especially through the iron rod) until such a time when your mind can receive the things of the Spirit without being aided by anyone upon your return back to a religious era. Without being born of the Spirit (knowing and speaking the mysteries of the spirit), one cannot enter the Kingdom of heaven. Knowing and speaking the mysteries of the spirit does not include gibberish mumbling or railing, that is satanic deception. Knowing and speaking the mysteries of the spirit is turning WATER (THE WORD) into WINE (THE MYSTERIES OF THE SPIRIT), being the first primary assignment of any Christ aspirant. 2 Corinthians 3:6; Who has made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the Spirit: for the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life. How can this miracle be performed? When letters of the written word begins to come alive and unveil their true form before someone, he sees for the very first time the mysteries within the Word. Not mere letters anymore, the Holy Spirit quickens his understanding and insight and he begins to decipher the letters of the word; thus, he performs his first assignment (miracle), the turning of water (words) into wine (mysteries of the Spirit). This is his second baptism, ''Baptism of the Spirit". Only the Holy Spirit can baptize him into the mysteries of the Spirit; no man can baptize another man into the mysteries of the Spirit. Do you know what I am doing now?... I am speaking and interpreting mysteries of the Spirit!

Now, we see the injurious work of Barabbas as he continually rob feeble minded people of their spiritual heritage through Babylon or the contemporary churches. He replaces the true mystries of the Spirit with gibberish murmurings and railings of nonsense. Also Barabbas entices with pomp, a show of magnificience and lordiness; he replaces spiritual glory for material one. His servants (prophets of Babylon) display delusionary grandeur, power and splendor; his worship temples stand loftily and arrogantly tall, luring the feeble and simple-minded in, who are in turn baptized unknowing into the worship of satan (our adversary). Revelation 18:4; And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her (Babylon), my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not her plagues. Please, let me state here that there is no glory in manhood as compared to his God destination. Man must set his mind on things above and not earthly things; knowing that godliness with contentment is great gain. Man fades away quickly and is compared to a worm when he is unable to see heavenly reality which is what our heavenly Father requires of us. Job 25:4-6; How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman? Behold, even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight. how much less man that is a worm? and the son of man which is a worm? Like I said earlier, when we walk in the Lord (the Father), in the light of His words, our throne (the world we create) is the glory He bestows on us. When a person meekly follow the leadings of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will show him the mystery of world creation.

Barabbas is the people's adversary, he ensures that they do not come to the knowledge of the rewarding promises from the Father if they do what is required of them. In this era and generation, he wins the consciousness contest although his demise will be irrevocable when: in the near generation, the people begins to embrace the Christ life and nature as their mode of consciousness (paradise era). The Christ consciousness would then: be a healing to all nations. When the people are healed, the knowledge of God would then cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. The consequence of the great increase of knowledge providentially shall grant the preparation of the Christ consciousness in the hearts of the people. The christ life and nature is a sure antidote to the devises and wiles of the enemy. For now; Barabbas, the left-hand, destructive son of the father sits as god in their hearts. His every wish, a command. The people living in this generation think they worship God; they do not know who God really is. Barabbas has done an injurious job through the adulteress, Babylon (contemporary church) in ensuring that the people are blind to the things of the spirit. John 12:40; He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. The church, built to be the gate-way to heaven has now become Babylon, the gate of the left-hand, destructive god. But the scriptures says, 'the gate of hell shall not prevail against it'. The Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against every abomination standing in high places in the hearts of the people. The people themselves will be willing in the days of the power of the Christ and in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5; For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (for the weapon of our warfare are not canal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;) casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. They shall see; and come to the understanding of the caustic effect of Barabbas' doctrines and Babylon, the adulteress and her false prophets who made the people walk in darkess and fed them with false doctrines shall be put to shame when the glory and brightness of the Christ consciousness, as the morning star arises in the heart of the people. Revelation 18:5-6; For her (Babylon) sins have reached up to heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double. Men shall awake gradually from stupor and the millennial dawn shall light on the world. The tendency of general enlightenment of the masses of the people shall be towards the judgement of Barabbas and the adulteress, Babylon. The passover shall return, but this time, the people will shout and clamour for the head of Barabbas, the satanic prince of this world. They shall put him to death, pull down his image in their hearts, thus freeing humanity of his deceptions. 2 Corinthians 10:6; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobediebce, when your obedience is fulfilled. Babylon and her false prophets (ecclesiastical powers), like the days of Elijah shall be put to death in the streets and cities of the mind and consciousness of the people. Revelation 18:8; Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death and mourning, and famine; and she shall utterly be burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. Then shall come, the second advent of the Christ which ushers in the millennial reign of the Christ. The paradise is the coming Kingdom of Christ on earth. Isaiah 60:1-3; Arise, shine for thy light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and the kings to the brightness of thy rising.

I mentioned earlier that the Science and the Philosophy were the two thieves, who were crucified with Jesus at the passover. Although, the Christ consciousness is dead during this era, these two are not dead although they are lame and suffer from paralysis (having had their legs broken during the passover). These two consciousness modes do not have the complete trust of the people of this generation to answer the begging questions of the mysteries of this life and what becomes of man in the afterlife. The people rather rely on religion to provide the answers they need although as we have read, religion, through its dark and deceptive god, Barabbas has failed woefully. Why were these two consciousness modes called thieves?... While religion (Barabbas) is a spiritual murderer, Science and Philosophy tends to rob one of his spirituality: because, many a time, they have led people into atheism; the belief system that there is no God present and active in the governance and organization of the world and universe. Atheism tends towards unspirituality, shifting the focus towards only the material world and morality at the detriment of true spirituality. These two spiritual thieves focus more on teaching how to live and relate with oneself and others in the material world; they barely have anything to say regarding man's relationship with God. Science and Philosophy fails to answer the fate of man in the afterlife (when he leaves the material world).

Philosophy, especially teaches logical reasoning in answering all questions of life. If that notion is true, then education and academic excellence should carry the day when answering nagginging questions about the mysteries of life, especially creation. Reasoning (the use of the mind) alone, cannot expose us to the answers of the the nagging questions of life. Philosophy fails to see or understand the role of the Holy Spirit as the creative Intelligence behind all creation and that it is only the Holy spirit, who can answer these nagging questions of the mysteries of life and of creation through the Father's Regent on earth in the person of the Christ. Educated and active minds not focused in the things of the spirit can never answer the question of man's aferlife. I am not saying that, the teachings in philosophy are wrong; I am saying it is spiritually incomplete, hence its inabilty to satisfy man's hunger for the truth. For its teachings to be complete, Philosophy needs to embrace, not scorn the spiritual teachings of Christ.  According to the crucifixion story, it joins the religious multitude in scorning the Christ. Philosophy has many positive aspects that can be exemplfied. Like the good Samaritan, Philosophy champions and elevates altruism, morality and modesty in man's society. Its teachings helps in building and growing the mind, thus a stimulator of the mental powers; philosophy destroy memes, negative acculturation and belief sytem that are detrimental to us through the active use of our mind. Without philosophy, one is likely to remain a prisoner of the public sentiment, rather than having a comprehensive system of belief. Philosophy helps in seperating the few mentally strong from the weak and feeble-minded multitude. It help us create our life path, and walk through the path we have created confidently;  Philosophy creates pioneers of men. Philosophy means, 'love of wisdom'. This is just a few from the many positive role philosophy play in man's society: Despite all its attributes, its teachings remain spiritually incomplete until it marries the spiritual teachings of the Christ; although all these attributes are needed in every Christian life, they do not guarantee a ticket to the kingdom of Heaven. In the gospel of  Luke 17: 12-19; ten lepers met Jesus, and he said to them, "go show yourselves unto the priests" (spiritual teachers or guides). When they went, they were all cleansed (with knowledge). Lepers are people who suffer from spiritual deficiency (or ignorance) and are not comely spiritually. These lepers may have been educated profiently with academic achievements but were spiritually deficient. Spiritual cleansing comes through the knowledge of the will and requirement of the Father of man; and the willingness to walk in that knowledge. Even, within animals, only the clean ones (those who meet the requirement for spiritual evolution) are offered unto the Lord. Only one of the ten lepers returned to thank Jesus. He was a Samaritan. Why did he return and to whom did he return?... He had been taught by the priests (spiritual teachers) but he returned to Jesus, the High Priest (the spiritual master of teachers) to perfect what he has learnt. He fell down at the feet of Jesus in worship (worship is having a relationship with someone in deep reverence and acknowledgement of the true nature and personality of the person, not making obeisance by bowing or knocking your head on the ground). His falling down at Jesus' feet is an acknowledgement of Jesus' superiority to other priests, being the High Priest of God. Although this Samaritan is now cleansed (with knowledge), just like the other lepers; he came back because he needed a relationship with Jesus, to enable him walk in the light of the knowledge received. The other nine lepers only completed the first phase of the exercise by showing themselves to the priest (spiritual teachers), the second phase is the practical aspect of learning which perfects the first. All the ten lepers were cleansed (with knowledge) but only the Samaritan was made whole (with perfected knowledge) because of his faith in the person of the Christ. Luke 17:19; And Jesus said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. This is a lesson philosophers must embrace.

The scriptures is the source of infinite reality, having a distinct trait of infallibility. It is the all-encompassing answer to the nagging questions of life. It embraces all fields of study; a compass for all spiritual navigators; although the true message its words seek to reveal are shrouded in mystery, those who humble themselves shall understand. The scriptures communicates differently; to the feeble and simple minded, it communicates literally through letters of the word, although the true form and picture of these words take shelter confidently in obscurity. To the wise and prudent, the true meaning of the letters of the word reveal themselves and they shall understand. Daniel 11:33; And they that understand shall instruct many.

Science continues to seek proof to satisfy its findings and the explanation of mysteries beyond its capacity. It has succeeded to convince with degrees of evidences, destroy any doubt and produce belief when probing into the structure and behaviour of the natural and physical world. When it tries to probe further, into the structure and behaviour of the unnatural and spiritual world, its efforts remain incongruent unlike its achievements in the study of the natural and physical world. It probes desperately, but many a time, the answers lie before the eye; but the eye needs to change its manner of focus so it could be positioned aright to see spiritually. 2 Corinthians 2:14; But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. The findings of Science on the mystery of life and creation is not complete until it borrows from the true spiritual source, which is the teachings of the Christ through the Holy Spirit. The refusal of science to embrace knowledge from the true spiritual source tends towards atheism, atheism tends towards unspirituality: the belief system that there is no God, present and active in the governance and organization of the world and universe. Therefore, science, not married to true spirituality is a spiritual thief as the crucifixion story rightly points out because it shifts people's attention from their spiritual identity and focuses only on the natural, physical and material manifestation alone. The knowledge of God cannot be known through science alone, but also through revelation of the mysteries of the Spirit, being the only manifestation of divine truth. Ephesians 3:9; To make men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Christ Jesus. Ephesians 1:17-18; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. The good news for Science in the crucifixion story is the promise Jesus made to the humble thief at his request: Luke 23:42-43; And he said unto Jesus, Lord remember me when thou cometh into thy Kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise. The Kingdom alluded here is the millennial reign of the Christ on earth, "Paradise". In paradise, empirical Science shall marry true Spirituality; Science and true Spirituality shall become one and shall give birth to Spiritual Science. In paradise, Spiritual Science shall reveal nature's mysteries presently hidden from us. For now, we are unaware of certain abilities that we possess. There are realities and/or knowledge which lie beyond the sphere of our consciousness mode, but are readily available when the conditions are right to acquire such information. In Paradise, man through the Father's regent (Christ), will have a direct relationship with God. Nature will come under one umbrella and the government of whole earth shall be administered by Christ. There shall be absence of strive in nature and absolute peace among creation because God's laws is in man's heart.
